What's in the name BAMBOO ?

The BAMBOO name and product mirrors the versatility of a perennial evergreen plant that grows in diverse climates and is used for construction or transformed into tools and a variety of products. By combining bamboo sticks and fur, the Chinese created their first pens. To this day, the Chinese written character for the word pen still uses two symbols: bamboo and fur.

According to legend, offering a live bamboo plant symbolizes good fortune.
